Jeff Kuzbel – Head Coach Bio

​

Jeff Kuzbel has coached baseball and softball for nearly 20 years.  He served as Director of Player and Coach Development for the Ashburn Girls Softball League and has managed or coached softball for the Ashburn Shooting Stars, Fire & Ice, Ashburn Pride and AGSL house teams.  In baseball, he has coached the Loudoun South Eagles, Virginia Force, Potomac Riverdogs, Loudoun Express and various house and all-star teams for Dulles Little league.  Prior to coaching, he played Division I college baseball at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and was a four-year letterman, athletic scholarship recipient; ranked 3rd place in all-time career batting average for Duquesne and led the Atlantic 10 Conference in batting average his senior season.  Additionally, he played Division III football at Duquesne during his freshman year.

Josh (son) - West Virginia University baseball recruit, Stone Bridge High School graduate, Washington Post All-Met Honorable Mention infielder, All-Liberty District Shortstop, All Liberty District and Northern Region Outfielder. Team Captain.

 

Jake (son) - Georgetown University baseball, 2nd Team Academic All-American, 1st Team Academic All Region, 1st team All Big East, 2nd team All-Big East, Four-year starter and multiple career and single-season offensive record holder, Team MVP & Captain.  Stone Bridge graduate and team Captain.

 

Michael (son) – Columbia University baseball, Ivy League Champions, Stone Bridge High School graduate, 3-year varsity Baseball/Football letterman, 2nd Team All-Northern Region Outfielder, All-Conference 14 Outfielder, VA Division 5 State Champions. 1st team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All Loudoun County Defensive Back.

 

Courtney (Daughter) – Riverside High School, two-year starter, 2nd team All-Conference Utility as freshman.  Ashburn Shooting Stars Black and Fire & Ice
